The Women's Leadership Initiative is delighted to host a lunch and learn discussion with Karen Tay, Smart Nation Director (North America), Strategy Group & Smart Nation Programme Office in the Prime Minister's Office.
About the speaker:
Karen is establishing the U.S. presence for Singapore's Smart National Office and represents Singapore's voice in smart cities on the global stage and builds strategic relationships with industry, Governments and thought leaders. She is concurrently adjunct faculty at Singularity University. Prior to this role, Karen was a policymaker and political speechwriter in the Education, Finance, Social and Technology sectors in Singapore. She is passionate about both social justice and technology, which led her to set up www.techandpublicgood.com, which has reached over 40,000 readers, including republications.
Participants will hear first-hand from Karen about women in tech, thoughts on smart nation and her personal journey building a network in the Silicon Valley.
